Case Quality Control Testing

by Justin Brown, PhD

It takes 28 steps to make an Eagle Eye Precision case. We start with individual brass discs made of the highest quality CuZn28 brass. Our quality engineers continuously sample and test our cases at each step in the production process. This helps ensure the most consistent and longest lasting cases available. A few of the quality inspections performed on Eagle Eye Precision cases include length, concentricity, thickness, primer pocket depth, flash hole and brass hardness at 15 unique points across the case. Our cases are capable of 10+ reloads.

Eagle Eye Precision .223 Rem cases randomly selected for quality sampling mid way through the production process. The flash hole is added in a later step.

Eagle Eye Precision 308 Win cases randomly selected for quality sampling mid way through the production process. Case necks and final dimensioning is completed in later steps.
