 Bullet design and geometry are essential in obtaining 1/2 minute of angle performance. Our bullet features an extended bearing surface and other design features which help minimize the sensitivty to seating depth and chamber cuts. This helps the Eagle Eye 175gr perform more consistently in a wide range of firearms.  While we take pride in offering unsurpassed accuracy, we recognize that there is more to shooting than just small group sizes. Many of our clients demanded more from us. As a result, the Eagle Eye Precision 175 grain bullet features a number of important engineering advances over traditional match bullets including a harder brass jacket composition, thicker jacket and larger diameter meplat compared to traditional match bullets. These design elements substantially improve terminal ballistics. The thin soft jackets which are common place with other match bullets often fall apart upon target impact and at long range offer poor terminal ballistic properties. Conversely, bullets designed purely with terminal ballistics in mind (ie. standard hunting bullets) often lack the precision and accuracy necessary to engage targets at long ranges.

In contrast, the Eagle Eye Precision 175 grain bullet significantly improves terminal ballistics imparting more kinetic energy into the target while also achieving 1/2 minute of angle or better accuracy. Eagle Eye customers have effectively engaged game such as javalena at distances exceeding 750. The terminal ballistic characteristics also improve performance on a number of tests critical to the law enforcement community such glass shooting. The jacket composition and bullet design allow the Eagle Eye 308 to penetrate cleanly through glass with minimal point of impact shift or expansion.
